Since I bought my first digital camera ( a little Sony Cybershot) a few years ago I've found my "snapshots" have a quality that I never had with film cameras - probably because I take more pictures. I then moved on to a Samsung compact, with more pixels and a wee bit of zoom and after just a year, I moved on again to a Fuji with more zoom and better macro, and now onto a Fujifilm X A10 - my first "interchangeable lens" camera.

My photostream combines random snaps of things I see around me, moments and scenes I want to remember, and older film photographs I've scanned (or those of family or friends) that I want to share. You'll see a lot of the Union Canal in Edinburgh because it's right on my doorstep and provides an amazing variety of wildlife right in the centre of Edinburgh.
