I like to do just about anything outdoors: visiting National Parks, hiking, backpacking, canoeing little rivers, fishing, snowshoeing, rock climbing, gardening, taking photos, walking my dogs, and going to farm auctions. I also enjoy trying new recipes, growing my own food, artsy/crafty projects, reading, local art, writing postcards and letters, knitting and searching for deals at thrift shops and rummage sales. Some of the things I am always hunting for are antique scales, wooden crates and other cool containers, good books to read, and pretty stationary.

I crave a more simple life. I currently work at a computer all day as a desktop publisher and hope to one day be a full-time alpaca farmer. Because I sit at a computer all day, I don't have internet at home. Weird, I know. I don't like talking on the phone or texting and watch very little TV. I cook from scratch - mostly vegetarian meals but I'm not a vegetarian. I enjoy a good micro brew but don't get drunk because I don't like feeling out of control. Loyalty and sincerity mean a lot to me. I have a hard time trusting people because I've been let down too many times. I'm a very sensitive person and I wish I wasn't. I just got married on August 28th, 2010 to my best friend. I sold my house in the city and moved to his place in the country. It's different living out in the middle of nowhere, but I like it. So, that's me - in a nutshell.
