I’ve been taking pictures since 1954 (ok, that should make me older than 18) when I got my own camera, a Voitländer Vito II. I've gone digital only since 2000 so through the years, I have quite an accumulation of transparencies and prints, some of which I have digitized. My pictures are mainly of places where I’ve been, outdoor nature shots and things of interest around me.

My posted pictures are my creations, except for a few pictures of me, which were taken by friends. But I guess if they were taken with my camera held by someone else, they are 'my' pics.

Since Flickr is about sharing photos, I prefer that potential contacts find my photos to be of interest, and that they have photos that might interest me. A short note as to what we have in common will be appreciated. Thanks.
