I do not quite know when or how I was so fortunate to stumble over Dennis' stream. What I know though is that I have come to appreciate his stream above many, many others. Even during my time-off from Flickr, I often find myself not being able to resist checking out especially Dennis' work. And though I wish to do this veonly very quickly, he through breathtaking motifs, intensely brilliant colours, dreamy-creamy bokehs and marvellous perspectives makes it impossible to not linger around for hours! Time just flies by when you are immersed in his pictures!!! You feel really being at the places he so realistically captures, you feel the sand of the beach between your toes, the summer breeze in your hair, the fog on your skin.. then you blink, find yourself sitting on your couch, watching Dennis' captions and sigh: "I wish I was as good as he is. Wish I had his camera gear! Wish I went to places he has been to." But you also smile and are grateful that he in his own way actually "took" you to these places. Furthermore, grateful that he shared his work. Besides that, Dennis is a pretty awesome contact. No picture on your stream will go uncommented by him, if you are on his contact list. And nope, it won't be a standard copy-pasted comment.. but a well-meant, individually written and warmly conveyed message! Thanks for everything, Dennis & Keep it going, dude =)
