I've been doing digital photography for a number of years. A friend convinced me that I should put some out for people to see (thanks Glen).

I started out in digital photography with a Nikon Coolpix 4500 in 2002. At the beginning of 2006 I stepped up to the Nikon D50.

Main photographic interest is steam locomotives. Also like small scale detail shots. Plants, animals, landscapes and nature feature heavily in my collection but I'm happy to have a go at anything.

I tend to employ the "Shotgun Technique" a lot. ie if I snap enough shots then some of them MUST hit the target and turn out to be half decent.

I generally tidy up the "keepers" in PaintShop Pro software before I consider them to be finalised (cropping, rotation etc) .
