My name is Russell Stone, and I live in Arvada Colorado, a suburb of Denver. I am a Colorado native and have lived here most of my life. I have been shooting photographs for as long as I can remember, and especially in High School and College where I was a photographer for both the yearbooks and newspapers. I even tried to go professional for a time, but the things I had to do to pay the bills made me regret that choice.

I love photography for the artistic beauty of the life it portrays, and also for the idea of the capture of a moment in time.

I have just recently joined the Flickr family and am having a wonderful experience with it. I have just converted to digital so I am still learning about the new medium. I appreciate any constructive assistance that any of you can provide to me.
