I have looked through a number of his pictures and Josep certainly has a good eye for an interesting street scene. He demonstrates a firm understanding for picture composition and lighting, and makes judicious use of both colour and monochrome. Many of his street photos are very good with interesting juxtapositions between different people, their surroundings, the architecture, graffitti, wall art etc. Several of his pictures are taken from behind their subjects which for me don't work so well. Overall, I commend Josep's work and encourage you to look through his pictures and enjoy street life seen through his lens.

Hi ha una altra Barcelona, ​​a més de la turística. La de passejar per Las Ramblas o el Barri Gòtic els dies de festa. La d'actuacions de músics anònims, homes-estàtua o petits teatres de titelles. Josep ens presenta davant els ulls aquesta ciutat diferent, que no va inclosa en el preu dels "tour operator". Amb els seus carrers i racons especials i amagats, que només els autòctons coneixen i reconeixen. Les fotografies de Josep tenen un segell propi. El de la persona que ha observat i ha intentat entendre i comprendre les fotografies dels grans mestres, de Cartier-Bresson fins a Català - Roca; de William Eggleston a Ernst Haas. Josep és l'alumne avantatjat que ha mirat i estudiat als grans mestres per entendre'ls i poder crear el seu estil propi. Mirar la galeria de Josep és com mirar una enciclopèdia de fotografia, on veiem la influència de tots aquest grans fotògrafs. J'ai eu l'occasion de découvrir ton travail au travers de ta galerie Flickr et j'ai été particulièrement interresse par la qualité de tes photos de scène de rue qui est je pense ton sujet de prédilection. Une photo a attiré mon attention: "Tango" . Le ressenti de cette prise reflète parfaitement l'intensité du moment: le couple de danseurs en déplacement sous l'emprise de leur art, captivant les spectateurs présents médusés. Tout y est: l'expression des corps en mouvement: contorsion, position,musculature qui reflète un instant musical que l'on croirait entendre … et puis l'expression des visages des consommateurs assis sous l'emprise des exécutants. Et puis la mise en scène sur une placette pavée ajoute un aspect très graphique de cette prise de vue. Je ne commenterai pas toutes les photos, elles ont toutes une histoire qui saute aux yeux, ce qui est essentiel pour moi dans la photo. Bravo pour ce travail, et en plus à Barcelone, magnifique cité que je connais assez dont le cadre est une immense source d'inspiration pour tout photographe. Ecxellente idée du cadre musical proposé pour chaque photo, je suis assez bluffé … Bonne continuation Jean Paul

I really adore you street photography, the images are crystal clear and the monochrome is beautiful. But you can also handle colors very well as your fruit pictures prove very well. I do love this guy's photostream as his shots are always unexpected, genuine and original. His POVs and the angles he catches are beautiful and unique. He is able to play with many photograph techniques, using bokeh and long exposures to create movement to street shots. I love b&w as I think this is a refined style of showing the reality. Wizard can really work out wonderful b&w pictures, with good contrast and shades. We definitely hope to see much more from this photographer! Thanks Simone
