Hello,

let’s try this again (3.0). My name is Witold Riedel and I am a traveling creative director who also takes pictures.

I have been taking pictures for several decades now, sometimes with more dedication, and sometimes with less.

Taking pictures is not my main daily task, thus I am only able to spend a relatively small amount of time on it.

Many of the photos here are just snapshots of strangers passing me in the street somewhere.

I shoot mostly with a Leica M9 and a Leica M Monochrom. Dependent on the day, the light, and the environment I am in, pictures are shot with different lenses.

(I shoot film too! Love it. I shoot with a Leica MP, a Konica Hexar RF, with a Leica Minilux, and even a Praktina FX from 1954. I have a Rolleiflex 2.8F and a Hasselblad 501CM. Love these cameras too, for a variety of reasons.)

I have been with Flickr since it was in beta. I originally used it as a dumping ground for photographs shot to illustrate stories on my old blog. Now I try to publish pictures with a bit more care. I do not have much time to keep up a blog.

Feel free to add me, or send me a note. I am sometimes very bad about adding people back or answering emails right away, but I try.

If you are representing a group, please do not post those gigantic blinking banners into my comments. I tend to delete them.

If you find yourself in any of my photographs and really do not want to be seen here, then please let me know. I should be able to remove your likeness very quickly.
