Friends and interested parties, please note:

I may start posting images without properly processing them (to my satisfaction that is). If you feel like the quality of my photos has dropped off, this is probably the reason.

I'm an old school photographer and although I love being able to shoot digitally and never having to take an image to the print stage, I still think every photo of mine should be optimized, post camera. That means treating it as if it were a film negative, projected through an enlarger, cropped to its best format, filtered, burned and dodged, adjusted for contrast and color saturation, spotted and yes, even retouched if it brings about a more satisfying image.

But all this takes me so much time, I feel as though I'm not able to post as much as I would like to. I have scores of images I could be sharing, but due to some health issues it has been taking me too long to get them out. So please excuse any drop off in quality for the time being.

Also, I apologize if it seems as if I don't reciprocate your generous comments enough or haven't been completely following through on the "Post 1, Comment 3" type of requirements for many groups. I do not intend to slight anyone. In fact, I am humbled by the work of so many of you. I just don't have the wherewithal at this time to shoot, process, post and sift though the huge number of fabulous images on flickr that deserve comment.

Thanks to all for stopping by. I truly appreciate you taking the time, and I am very grateful for your comments and favorites.

-Chris
