I have been evaluating office products since the late '60s when I worked part-time for my Dad's company (Buyers Laboratory Inc. [BLI]). After college, I worked for the local utility company as a Towerman 1st Class on electrical transmission towers up to 300' high. In 1976, I began working full-time for BLI testing mops, floor buffers, highlight pens, writing pens, manual typewriters and adding machines. Since then, I have graduated though testing of copiers, word processors, printers, software, color imaging and all-in-ones.
