Many times I wanted to write a testimonial for this extremely talented photographer, but somehow I've always been in a hurry. No more. Now I stop and write. Colin's images are perfect in every single sense. They are photographed with the perfect exposure, light, brilliantly composed and did I mention those gorgeous colours? But photography is more than mere technicalities. It is all about communicating visually all that is close to our heart. All that we hold sacred. And Colin's photography illustrates just that. Jacki wrote that 'as a person, Colin defines charm' and I simply cannot put it better than that. So true. And like Jacki, I am also looking forward to many more incredible images of the wild and beautiful place that is Orkney.

I had not heard of Orkney before I met him, but through his gorgeous photos, I now know it to be a beautiful, magical place, overflowing with breathtaking land and seascapes, and rich in history. And he seems to have an incredible knack for being in the right place at the right time, which has produced some amazing photographic results. As a person, Colin defines charm.
