My name is William J. Young.

I enjoy creating documentary projects. Documenting, to me, usually encompasses several subjects:people,places,and objects which are all interrelated within the context of my stories, whether they are comveyed in a linear fashion or otherwise.

I choose to capture images with Ricoh GR cameras. The ability to carry a high precision tool anywhere I go is a dream come true. Most of the photos posted were proudly taken with Ricoh cameras. Freedom to go, and make art anytime without being weighed down by excessive gear is what I appreciate. Shooting with a prime lens always encourages me to get closer and closer.
