I am really very new to the whole photography scene. Yes i have been taking photo's for a while, but got bored with just "pointing-and-shooting&quot.

I am from South Africa.

I started this amazing journey with a Nikon D40 with the stock 18-55mm lens. Also got a Sigma 70-300mm lens.

Now, I have a Nikon D300 and there is only one word to describe this piece of art itself: MONSTER - I love it!!!

The reason I joined Flickr was to learn!!! I learn a lot by looking at other people's pictures and reading all the interesting comments.

Since I joined FLICKR I have learned about HDR photography (or is it processing), and I am completely addicted to the "art". I am now trying out the HDR technique, and love every moment of it.

I will be uploading as many as possible pics here, and really hope to get some good crits back from everybody.
