I started taking pictures with my Miranda SLR nearly 50 years ago (remember those?). One of these days I hope to take some real photographs!

I know photography isn't about the equipment, but I'm always interested in what people use and how they use it. So here is what I use.

I've evolved into a Canon user. I'm all digital now, but still can't seem to part with my old A1 and all its stuff. My gear these days is:

Canon EOS 10D and 40D

Canon Powershots S3IS, 1200IS, and G12

Canon 430 EX and 580 EXll

Canon 100mm f2.8 macro

Promaster 19-35mm f3.5-4.5

Canon 28-200mm f3.5-5.6

Canon 70-200L f2.8 IS ( with 1.4 and 2.0 extenders)

The 28-200 has been great for motorcycle trips but my favorite lens is the 70-200.
