I am especially fond of his 1971 sets (IV is my favorite). those old shots are a stunningly honest and unassuming documentary of America from another time. willie's eye for composition, and his ability to represent a whole time period with a single photograph, have won my deep respect. these shots have had a big influence on me, and i'm grateful that willie has seen fit to share them.
