James is a software developer working on the next-generation fundraising platform for Blackbaud, a company which exclusively caters to the non-profit market.

In his professional life, he tends to focus on Microsoft's development stack: VB.Net, SQL Server, IIS, and so forth. During his spare time, he is currently working on becoming proficient with Apple's Objective-C and Cocoa stack. And he's always up for learning a new programming language or style.

When he's not programming, he enjoys practicing his photography, reading fantasy and sci-fi, catching good movies (both old and new) on Netflix, and reveling in all things geeky.

In general, he does not like beaches or walking on them.
