I can give no greater compliment than to say Will has inspired and influenced my work more so than any other photographer. He opened up to me the world of street photography at a time when i was limiting myself by providing me with the ability to see the incredible myriad of photographic opportunity around me. I find his photos not just a journey through the world but a geniunely moving experiance. For me, Will is the very essence of street photography and i have no doubt, without his frendship, kindness and ability to help me see the world around me, i would not be half the photographer i am today. Intelligent, interesting, and witty, Will is a man full of expressive merriment and jovial spirit. There is a wicked playfulness about him that is quite charming and endearing. He seems to be of that rare breed that takes very little to seriously, and enjoys this ride called life all the more for it. As a person he is well worth taking the time to get to know. As a photographer he has a keen eye and an uncanny ability to pull you towards some sort of understanding of his subject, which is remarkable to me, as he is primarily a street photographer. He is just as capable with his humorous, 'this is life', shots, as he is with his heartfelt 'every person' shots. He is a man of humour and vision and perseverance, and I can't help but look forward to seeing more of his work. As a footnote, if you haven't already taken the time to do so, his blog is definitely worth a looksie, and easily highlights the best parts of this remarkable man's character.
