"I am not interested in shooting new things, I am interested to see things new" Ernst Haas.

"The challenge [for the photographer] is to make poetic observations of subjects that matter." Robert McFarlane, 2018

Not using my real name. Surprise, surprise.

Another surprise is the number of people who don't seem to understand that I am not a lover of graphics - winky, shiny or static awardy thingies - or emojis. A polite thank you may go to those that use them, but the thingy will go. Words tell me what you think - in the comments that you may choose to make about my images. Also, I don't own a gun, so I don't shoot anything, I take photographs, or if you prefer, because I use a digital camera, images.

According to John Ford, most of the good things in pictures happen by accident. (Thank you Hix Images for having that quote on your site.) I couldn't agree more. Some of my best images looked like monumental disasters when viewed in the camera. My tip would be to never delete an image from the camera unless it has been copied onto the processing computer.
