My name is Wilfredo Hernandez, but I'm known as Wilfred. I was born in Güines , a small town south of Havana, Cuba.

I love everything that has to do with the sea. I was certified as an Open Water Diver in 2008. Since then, I started diving as frequently as possible. At one point, I decided to buy a camera (Intova IC 800 ) to record some of the memories of my dives. From that day on I become fascinated by underwater photography and started diving specifically for that purpose. As I got better at this hobby, I decided to upgrade my camera to a Nikon D7000 in an Ikelite housing and two Ikelite strobes.

As I continued to practice, my photography improved in many ways.
