I'm an honest, sincere and passionate person simply here to look at beautiful pictures, and to be inspired to improve my own skills. There are so many talented people on here, I love it!!!

I was born and raised and have lived the majority of my life in a small farming town in NY, within miles of Lake Ontario. It's a very beautiful area with many photo opportunites. Hopefully someday I will be able to truly capture that with my camera. I love gardening and flowers and began this site to store pictures of the flowers around my house and share them with other family members. Of course, I got side tracked along the way and started looking at all the other photos posted on here too. Now I'm hooked!!!

Besides the lovely visions here, this site allows me to be able to interact with so many diverse people from all over the world and to see their environment through their photos. I have a great passion for language and learning about other cultures. I lived in Germany for a 1 1/2 years and was able to travel through out Europe. I really loved the old cities and the country side. I look forward to the day I can explore some of the wonderfully beautiful places I've seen in the photos here, and perhaps even meeting some of you.
