what can i say, love photography, love my dogs, my cats, love ventnor. My dad put a camera in my hand when i was a kid, and i loved it, i like photographing anything that captures my attention, and can spend hours out walking getting lost in the world of WOW. I love all flora and fauna, and am happiest when im surrounded by mother nature and all her wonderfull offerings. I believe in the magik of earth, and that her bounties are precious.
My first camera was a Minolta 8000 with a macro lens, and it was instant love, this was followed by a 35mm Centon with wide angle lens and a 70mm lens, which was lots of fun
The camera's im using at the moment are a Pentax Optio W10, Great little camera, Fantastic in fact, the macro is outstanding, and I also use a Nikon D70, which i'm having great fun getting to grips with. I have a selection of lenses, but i love my nikkor micro lens, and can spend hours playing with it.
I have had my first picture publication in 2008, when i entered a competition, and was told that a photojournal had seen my picture and wanted to publish the picture regardless to weather i won or not, an accomplishment im proud of ( wont know about the comp until AFTER sept, the book comes out start of sept. )
WISH LIST: a couple of new lenses, fish eye and ultra macro would be a dream :)
NikonD300
My dads old Box Brownie (i know its a lot to ask for, but its precious)
Please dont blog or use these photos without my permission, thank you. xx
