I decided to rewrite my intro after more than a year with Flickr.
Hello Flickr friends.
I have never enjoyed photography like I am having right now. I enjoyed photography in high school, but have rarely taken time to embrace this creative outlet since then. I'm learning again to take time for the things I enjoy. Flickr gives me the opportunities to meet nice people from around the globe and the fun is endless from the learning experienced through comments and discussions.
Photographs that look natural are appealing - to say something about the world as it is. Candid shots are the best when photographing people. I prefer the challenging natural ambient over flash when shooting indoors or at night. Ironically, although most of my posts are landscapes and cityscapes, the photographs that bring me the most joy usually feature people – which I am not good at. Macro photography is new to me and I still have so much to learn. I like reading comments as well as looking at those wonderful images and returning all faves and comments are always at the top of my priority list.
I was born, raised and now settled in this very place - Kodiang. Most of my pictures were taken around the vicinity of my hometown; they are about places, people and the slow life around here.
Some says roots connect us to the past and the wings carry us into the future. As far as I am concerned, we can’t have roots and wings at the same time so I chose roots. It gave me a sense of family and connection - a sense of identity, knowing who you are and what you stand for - a feeling of possibility and freedom - a sense of being part of history, part of a community.
Pictures uploaded are for myself, for the record, for the memories and also for the fun of it. I am not a photographer but I really enjoy taking pictures.

Film : I have no film that I hate. The cheaper they are, the more I like them. Those I love the most were given to me for free :-)
:: Why mess with perfection - Faster isn’t always better :: :-)
Thanks for dropping by and keep shooting and sharing.
Best regards,
Jusni

Jusni's photography has been a constant source of inspiration for me since I first met him on Flickr. And he has supplied me with so much encouragement over the years with kind words and friendship. His photography has a brightness, a joy, a colorfulness that comes from his documentation of the beautiful scenes of Malaysia. I get a sense that he loves the things he photographs. They are flowers or scenes or people or streets he has seen and enjoyed. I love the feeling that he is sharing his life with us through his photography. I think anyone can find enjoyment in his work; I have found enjoyment in it for long time, and will for a long time to come.

Mr Jusni Nasirun photography, tells story about things,people and nature around him. Every picture is solid with quality. Really admire his passion and artistic skills, especially in film photography.
He was one of the first people to show me what I was looking to get from flickr, to engage in artistry while addressing and displaying ourselves. I was propelled further into this somewhat social artistic network by meeting Wicked aka Jusni.
