I'm a point and click photographer - the EOS 400D does all the work. I'm also new to digital and don't do editing other than cropping, so if you have red eye it's staying, never mind any other manipulation.

I did start a photography course but got scared off by talk of lighting equipment and apertures and the like.

I prefer to take pictures of animals, plants and inanimate objects, if I'm taking pictures of people I prefer to be at a distance and use my 300mm lens.

I alternate between taking photographs for the sake of photography and simply recording what's going on in my life.
