Morning,

I'm Welsh, coming from a town called Penarth which is about 10 minutes car ride away from Cardiff. I go by a few names: Wibble, Clarke (or Clarkey) my real name is Nick but only a few people know me by that name.

I just sort of started out taking digi snaps about a year ago, and as you will see from my efforts I am very much a beginner, using a Canon Powershot A1000 which is my 2nd camera, after dropping my first and so far only previous Canon somewhere in the Cebu Straight. Basically I have very little idea what I'm doing so any comments you want to make about my stuff are MASSIVELY appreciated, especially if they contain genuine, constructive advice/criticism. If you are technically adept and wish to give me some advice, please be aware that you must use the simplest terminology possible. I'm quite dull on the technical side like! But yeah, pointers are welcome.

So I was lucky enough to see a lot of Asia on my way through to spending 18 months in New Zealand, which is where most of my shots are taken. Oh and by the way, NZ is great for a beginner, just point the camera at the amazing sky on any given evening. The skies and clouds here are so colourful and interesting, if you can compose a shot adequately then some amazing landscape and silhouette pics can be got. It really is an endlessly gorgeous place and I miss it terribly.

Now I'm back in the Wales, UNITED KINGDOM and I would really like to take more and better portrait photographs, you know arty stuff, like? Maybe like Bill Murray in Ghostbusters 2. I've just bought myself a Nikon d3100 but am too busy planning lessons to learn how to use it. Most shots on my stream were taken with Canon Powershots.

UPDATE: I am now studying for a Honours Degree in Documentary Film & Television, so some of the recent Sets that I have composed marked 'DFT' are amied at my course. But, as per the norm, please feel free to comment and all the rest if it.

Peace and love, Cymru am byth!
