Well, let's see, I have always had a camera by my side. Even as a kid it was a Kodak Intstamatic with those lovely flash cubes. My high school graduation gift from my Dad was a Nikon FG package. I used and abused that camera! It was sent for repairs for salty air exposure many times.

I have drifted into the digital world now, although I do keep some 35mm systems around just in case. I fell into Sony after my son inherited a Minolta system from a neighbor. What a jackpot that was! So many auto-focus lenses. I learned about the compatibility with the Alpha series dslr's and the rest, as they say, is history.

I still have and use my Sony dcr-trv730 camcorder. So far nothing beats the quality of video. It's also fun to use for infrared pics!
