Seit fast 60 Jahren bin ich leidenschaftlicher Hobbyfotograf.

Angefangen hat alles mit einer Rolleiflex 6x6 Mitte der 60er Jahre – seither haben mich Kameras nicht mehr losgelassen. Im Laufe der Jahre habe ich mit verschiedensten Modellen fotografiert: Canon, Minolta, Pentax, Olympus – und aktuell mit einer Sony Alpha.

Ich fotografiere alles, was mir vor die Linse kommt. Besonders lange hat mich die Straßenfotografie begeistert, insbesondere die spontanen Momente mit Menschen im Alltag.

In letzter Zeit hat sich mein Fokus immer stärker zur Naturfotografie verlagert – aus Interesse und persönlichem Engagement für Umwelt und Natur. Besonders die Makrofotografie, vor allem von Insekten, fasziniert mich zunehmend und ich arbeite kontinuierlich daran, mich darin zu verbessern.

I have been a passionate hobby photographer for almost 60 years.

It all started with a Rolleiflex 6x6 in the mid-60s - since then, cameras have not let me go. Over the years, I have photographed with various models: Canon, Minolta, Pentax, Olympus - and currently with the Sony Alpha.

I photograph everything that comes in front of my lens. I was particularly enthusiastic about street photography for a long time, especially the spontaneous moments with people in everyday life.

Recently, my focus has shifted more and more to nature photography - out of interest and personal commitment to the environment and nature. I am particularly fascinated by macro photography, especially insects, and I am constantly working to improve myself in it.
