My name is Whitney and I am teenager from one of the fabulous New England States in America. I am horse-crazy, and I love photography. I also own my own horse and do dressage.
I combine my love for photography with my love for horses by (obviously) taking equestrian photographs. I got into photography when my mom bought me a kodak camera for Christmas in 2004. I began taking horse photographs in the summer of 2005, when I would be at the barn for hours and hours on end. After I would ride my horse, I would take pictures of everyone else riding and the horses in their pastures. I do not show my horse regularly, so I get many opportunities to travel to dressage shows with my trainer, and take pictures for her and other people at the barn who are showing.
I own a 16 year old chestnut Quarter Horse mare named Sam. I have owned her since March 11th, 2004, I bought her in Canada. I board her at a private barn a short distance from my home in the USA. I have the best trainer in the world, who really helps me advance in my riding with Sam. We have successfully competed two full seasons together.

Favorite Quotes:
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain
Don't throw rocks if you are the one living in the glass house
Dance like nobody's watching;
love like you've never been hurt.
Sing like nobody's listening;
live like it's heaven on earth
