Hi

My name is Philip and i am an artist/photographer from Ireland. I love photography, looking at good photographer and trying to create it. For those who are into gear (like me) i shoot canon: 5dmkii, 50mm 1.4, 24-70mm 2.8, sigma 70-200mm 2.8. I use a 580exii and i have a cheap yet excellent off camera flash setup of a couple of vivitar 285's and some umbrellas.

I kind of have my ideal setup as a side effect of somethin i hope never happens to any of you: all of my gear (which i spent 5 years building up working summer jobs) was stolen. The insurance came through, I chose carefully when replacing it all. My advice is go and check your insurance policy. NOW. I was very lucky. a lot of insurance policies have limits on cameras (€400 for example) Make sure you covered.

I recently realised the joys of film and got a leica cl (40mm f2) which is 39 years old and brilliant. I have a Holga, (which is one of the most overrated cameras ever, but i can see why some people like them). I have a Horizon which is great fun. My sister lets me use her Mamita RB67Z sometimes (a beautiful camera, but is the size of a house)
