The White Clay Creek is the only National Wild and Scenic River protected in its entirety. This federal designation helps to preserve watershed features that enhance water quality, natural resources and the over all quality of life. As residents of the White Clay Creek watershed, we enjoy its unique benefits but we also share responsibility for maintaining the characteristics that make the watershed special.
