Melinda Montgomery is a photographic artist from Wollongong Australia who has been photographing for over 20 years. Her training stems from 35mm black and white film with Pentax film camera's from the 90's. Honing her skills from the film era, she has developed a new style emerging into the digital age, taking her from the darkroom to the desktop. Melinda's editing skills emerged after hundreds of hours painstakingly restoring old family photographs from the turn of the 20th century in Photoshop. This attention to detail has shaped her now recognisable - yet ever evolving - style of work.

Melinda credits her tools of the trade as her camera and computer but would be lost without her trusty four-legged model; her twelve year old cat Fenella.
