There are lots of things I do: single mom, photographer, and blogger and none of those is my "day job". Photography is my passion. It's more than a hobby, it's the part of my life where I get to be completely free without any restrictions. I wake up thinking about what to shoot and sometimes I fall asleep at my computer processing photos in Lightroom and Photoshop.

I'm a freelance photographer based out of Honolulu, Hawai'i. I originally started photography because of my old beauty blog website. I needed high quality product photos and I couldn't find any online that I liked enough so I began to dabble in photography. Photography ended up becoming more than an accompaniment to my website, it became the focus of many hours of trial and error, reading and learning. I have since closed that beauty blog and have turned my focus completely to photography.

I believe that there is no perfect photographer, that we each see the world in a different and unique way. Christopher Belme once said "Photography is a great excuse to see things you ordinarily wouldn't." There is so much of the world we live in that people miss going to and from their jobs. I enjoy seeing the world from behind a lens because I can take a photo and share my point of view with an endless number of people online.
