David also founded WhatCounts (www.whatcounts.com) but exited the company when it was successfully sold to Mansell Group and Riverside in December, 2010.

Prior to founding Eyejot and WhatCounts David was CTO at www.altrec.com and, before that, was a Director at Starwave, a Paul Allen startup famous for creating www.espn.com, www.abcnews.com, www.thestreet.com and numerous other incredible projects and platforms. Starwave merged with Infoseek and then was bought by Disney.

Davis has been involved in email for a very long time and once sold software he developed to Traveling Software (Laplink) and Goldstar.
