I have found ‘flickrworld’ to be an amazing place...for the photographs of course – but as a ‘people-watcher’ it is truly fascinating. Do get in touch if you’d like to explore this aspect of our virtual lives!

A camera has been a part of my life since my early teens – and has served as my diary; with greater and lesser activity that was dependent upon were life took me.

By good fortune my work has given me the gift of travel – though as an isolate. I love to experience new cultures, sights, sounds, smells and....food 

It took me a while to migrate from black and white to colour, mainly because I’m colour-blind and this brings along specific issues as you may imagine. Some years ago I ventured into colour processing....(adventured may be a better word) though digital analysing saved me; most of the time.

Therefore I simply photograph the world I see; I’m not into manipulating images (I have no ability in that direction). Sure – I tweak exposure, highlights etc when I need to but that’s all. Any further work would involve playing with the colour balance; then I would truly be lost.
