Black & White and Color Photography shot on traditional film cameras documenting the "Unnatural Natural Environment" - the human created "concrete jungle" that is the backdrop of all city life. Primarily, Black & White images printed in a traditional darkroom from 120 Medium Format negatives, shot on a Twin Lens Reflex Camera. Some 35mm Black & White images printed in a traditional darkroom, and 35mm color images printed in a digital darkroom from negative scans.

I try and create images with a timeless quality so that they cannot be easily dated or identified as being taken in a certain era - I avoid certain elements in the image such as cars, clothing, etc… to achieve this.

In my photography I look to find beauty in items, scenes, structures, and landscapes that are functional or utilitarian- thus not commonly viewed as art. I like to photograph things that are typically overlooked or overshadowed by the fast pace of daily life in the ever-evolving cityscapes that we inhabit.

Many images capture the environment at night when cars and people are not present. This allows the viewer a new perspective of the subject by providing them with a glimpse of their environment at a time in which they might never see it.
