I have spent much time with my passion of photography which has branched out a bit from the main earlier theme of transport photography. I will still travel to get to see places as well as railways but not as much by rail now because it is generally too uncomfortable.

Now that I travel mostly by car I can take along all sorts of creature comforts to assist - like tripods and a spare camera or two.

I have a soft spot for scenery and wildlife and can quite contentedly sit for ages in some quiet location watching the world go by, undisturbed by others.

The photos of subjects now include a theme of "teddies on tour" which, I have noticed, brings smiles to the faces of so many people.

There is so much to see in the world to smile about and the travelling teddies perhaps have caused people to look round them a bit more when they are out and about and appreciate the world.
