I'm no great photographer or artist but, way back in 2009, I discovered digital scrapbooking on Daisytrail, a website hosted by Serif. The Daisytrail community was vibrant, knowledgeable and encouraging, we learned how to blend, mask, distort, recolour, fade, isolate and enhance; we learned to draw and paint and to create our own artwork; we used our own photographs with the scrapbooking kits to create pages that told visual stories or included narratives. They were heady days. These days I use Serif's Affinity products but I also have new interests and have less time to be creative. I hope this explains the diversity of my work, why coal miners are surrounded by lace and cats appear atop Parisian buildings - we were a community having fun, enjoying learning the processes which I still use every day, and being free to use our imagination without boundaries. As time allows, I will return to scrapping photographs, the combining of art and narrative.

Testimonials
This could be your first testimonial. I am not sure why you need one or why Flickr thinks they are important but your postings to the Serif Users group keep it alive. Keep posting. ( this is my first foray into this sort of thing and I see that Flickr gives you the chance to bounce it )
