Welcome to my photostream!

I started taking pictures on negative films and slides a long time ago but in the end I switched to my first digital camera (Canon EOS 350D) in 2005. This offered additional and new possibilities in terms of shooting and in particular post-processing and I've to admit I love it, e.g. HDR. By the way, if I remember right the place where I saw the first HDR pictures was Flickr.

My photographic journey covers urban photography, architecture as well as landscape and people/animals. Recently I've got my first macro lens and I'll try to take more macro shots.
