We Found Art started life as an online project exploring notions of value and beauty in objects that had been lost, forgotten or discarded.

Throughout 2011 people were invited to post small found objects to the We Found Art HQ, along with a note of where they were found and why they were chosen. These objects were then photographed and accessioned as they would were they to be joining a gallery or museum collection.

We Found Art now tours offline in an 1988 Avondale Perle Olympus caravan as 'The Moveable Museum of Found Objects.' Although we are no longer accepting postal submissions, you are invited to upload photographs of your found treasures to the We Found Art group pool.
