Hi, I’m Amanda and I love to knit! I knit or crochet most days. I don’t remember learning to knit, but I do remember knitting little clothes for my Sindy dolls when I was very young - I’ve been told I started when I was three.

As well as knitting, I also enjoy designing and I have published several of my knitting patterns on Ravelry.

My other hobbies include photography (that’s where my ‘shuttermonkey’ name comes from), sewing, quilting, dressmaking and cross stitching.

Toadstools, butterflies, bathbombs, scented candles, chocolate, cocktails and anything sparkly or glittery.

Favourite Chocolates:

Ferrrero Rocher, but I also adore coffee flavoured chocolates and white chocolate too.

Favourite Colours:

Pinks, greens and purples . . . heathery shades.

There aren't any colours that I don't like.
