From what I have seen and enjoyed about VJ’s work, you can clearly see that heart behind the eye. A lot of photographers aspire on that technical level to achieve shots. VJ’s shots thrive on simplicity and composition. From simple house hold objects, to anything else, VJ’s exclusion and inclusion of objects in the frame are able to tell so much about each object; striking an excellent balance between deliberate and delicacy. I can definitely vouch for his post processing ability. His shots have such a quality about them that is like listening to Beethoven on a spring morning. Soft warm tones are inviting, and his portraiture aspect ratio which usually implies strength, adds even more to that. I eagerly wait to see how VJ will continue to mature his creations. As a person who I know I can share and grow with in this art, I’m glad to call VJ a friend.

VJ has a unique photographic style that makes normal daily items looks phenomenal. I find his work honest, sincere, artistic, and consistent; probably reflects the quality of the photographer too. VJ is the only artist whom I know uses the portrait orientation all of the time, which also inspires me to compose my shots differently too. He also knows how to compose his photos with negative spaces that gives me a open and relax feel when looking at this works. Above all, I find VJ a photographer who works hard to continue to improve and evolve his art. Is that spirit to always learn and better his photography that makes his works always interesting to look at and draw inspiration from.
