Moreover, he obtains great results by skillfully using "optical" filters. Those are not "HDR". It's "real photos". He completely understands the change in light by using an optical filter. Hallo Dietrich, Die Kunst in deinen Fotos liegt eindeutig darin, Szenen an denen andere vorbeilaufen perfekt festzuhalten. Ich kenne wirklich zahlreiche Orte deiner Fotos. Die meisten habe ich ebenfalls mit meiner Kamera bewaffnet besucht. Trotzdem habe ich nur recht wenige Szenen so gesehen und bin oft einfach daran vorbei gerannt. Die HDR- Serien sind wirklich enorm gut. Ich denke da nur z.B. an die Fotos vom Westhafen - die sind klasse und ich wohne gerade mal 200 Meter davon entfernt und laufe jeden Tag dran vorbei. Dietrich has been a pleasant surprise in Flickr. When I first saw one of his spectacular landscapes I thought "hey, how good he did it here". When I saw the second, third and so on I discovered he was not lucky at all, but a truly great photographer. He is so kind too. But despite him being young, one of the things I like the most is that he has a child, *and* he is a great photographer too! I imagine his pleasure helping his son growing as a person, photographer, and learning English at the same time :) I must admit I'm really new to photography, and I had never thought of photography as a way of educating a child. Now, how happy I am, my life changes everyday thanks to photography, and to great friends as him that teach me how to better enjoy many things of my life through photography. Really thanks! diego.
