Much of my experience with photography has been taking candid shots of bagpipers and drummers in motion during competitions. I've been "photographically active" for a few years, really spending time on it since I received my first DSLR, a Nikon D-50. This year, I received a Nikon D-80, and am very happy with it. It's also great to have two cameras with different lenses when you're running down the street in front of a bagpipe band on parade, or following them into the competition circle and there's just no time to plan or set up your shots.

I really enjoy wildlife photography, and wish I had more time for it. I also enjoyed the opportunity visit Scotland in 2008 with the Northwest Junior Pipe Band on their trip to the World Pipe Band Championships, and have several photos of Glasgow and Edinburgh architecture.

A small sampling of my work, Notes over those that have been picked up in Explore.
