I'm a retired software engineer living in San Miguel De Allende and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. My avocation is photography which I have been pursuing since I can remember. My grandfather was a naturalist who did all of his own photographic processing in his basement darkroom. Both my father and my grandfather introduced me to the basics of photography and the darkroom. I closed up my last darkroom in 2003 and have been mostly Digital since then. I still have two Nikon film cameras and a film scanner and shoot film when I get the urge. I mostly like the look and feel of Black & White film which is hard to duplicate digitally.
I have been married since 1971 and have 2 children who are now in their 40's. My son is a graphic artist/photographer living in Mexico with his wife and our first grandson. My daughter is a photographer specializing in wedding & documentary photography and who also lives near us in Mexico and in new York.
I am a lifelong Buddhist (a Recovering Catholic) with a deep interest in Chinese Ch'an and Japanese Zen Buddhism as well as The Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism.

Je vous invite à parcourir les albums de ED ! Des heures de voyages gratuits avec ce froid (en France) ça ne se refuse pas !
I love the work of this man, he capture the moment and the beauty of the thing. And he love my country!!!
Ed's sure eye carries me along on his journeys around the world and I find myself returning again and again to his pictures for more of his point of view. Enjoy his sense of fun, irony and wisdom.
