Who are we?

Waterlution - "A Water Learning Experience" is a Canadian NGO which aims to inspire pattern-making and pattern-breaking change towards a healthy and sustainable relationship with water.

What do we do?

Waterlution offers learning programs for young Canadians interested in the sustainable management of water resources and watersheds.

Through our longest running program - "The Future of Water" workshop series - we host residential workshops for Canadians, aged 18-35, in regions across the country.

We give these "leaders of tomorrow" an opportunity to meet, discuss, and collaborate with local water experts, community leaders, industry representatives, and other stakeholders - all through creative means and experiential learning activities such as field tours and interactive dialogue sessions. Our programs are designed with emphasis on inter-generational sharing and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The goal is to build the capacity of a community to address its water-related challenges, while providing valuable networking, skill building, and critical thinking opportunities to individual participants.
