Sva nastojanja prema budućnosti povezana uz temu vode i vodnih resursa beznačajna su ukoliko zajednica nije uključena

Polygon – Centar za istraživanja i razvoj projekata u kulturi u suradnji s Delta Lab centrom i Urbanim studijima Sveučilišta u Rijeci, Općinom Jelenje i zajednicom otoka Unije, formirali su platformu Voda i zajednica koja u fokus stavlja arhitekturu vodnih resursa od tradicionalnih načina prikupljanja kišnice, pučke arhitekture, tehničke kulture do rituala svakodnevice, mitologije i folklornih sekvenci običaja pojedinih zajednica.

Voda i zajednica nastavak je programa koji se razvijao u sklopu Rijeka 2020 EPK i programskog pravca 27 susjedstava, mikro-lokaliteta Grobničkih Alpi, kanjona rijeke Rječine, i Općine Jelenje kao najvećeg vodo-zaštitnog područja Primorsko-goranske županije i proširen je na druge hrvatske regije i otoke.

Platforma Voda i zajednica iskazuje direktnu podršku ideji obnove javnih šterni/gustirni kao i pokretanja ideje osnivanja umjetničko-znanstvenog centara na području Općine Jelenje, koji bi kroz svoje djelovanje na razmeđu znanosti, umjetnosti i budućnosti pratio teme o vodi, krasu i zajednici.

Zidne novine informativni je punkt koji stoji na raspolaganju široj zajednici i predstavljaja teme, ideje, aktere zajednice i goste platforme Voda i zajednica.

All efforts towards the future are related to the topic of water and water resources are meaningless if the community is not involved

Polygon - the Center for research and development of projects in culture, in cooperation with the Delta Lab Center - Urban Studies, University of Rijeka, the Municipality of Jelenje and the community of the island of Unije, formed the Water and Community platform, which focuses on the architecture of water resources from traditional ways of collecting rainwater architecture, technical culture to everyday rituals, mythology and folklore sequences of the customs of different communities.

Water and community is a continuation of the program that was developed as part of the Rijeka 2020 EPK under the flagship of 27 neighborhoods, micro-localities of the Grobnik Alps, the canyon of the river Rječina, and the Municipality of Jelenje as the largest water protection area of the Primorje-Gorski County and has been extended to other Croatian regions and islands.

The Water and Community platform expresses its direct support for the idea of renovating public water-tanks, as well as initiating the idea of establishing an art and science center in the area of Jelenje Municipality, which, through its activities at the intersection of science, art and the future, would follow the themes of water, krast in relation to community.

The Zidne novine is an information point that is available to the wider community and presents topics, ideas, community actors and guests of the Water and Community platform.
