Washu is one of the nicest people you will meet in Second Life. She has been an active part of the game since its infancy and has seen many changes. She is the literally the mother of prim hair. She is the very first person to use the idea of prim attachments as hair. With a single ponytail the hair industry in Second Life was born. Washu, together with her husband, has created a community for hair designers and hair lovers alike to get together in a setting that suits everyone needs. Their Hairspray sims bring the community closer together and give new people a chance to experience all that the hair industry has to offer and more. She has the patience of a saint and a heart of gold. She is one of the people I trust the most in Second Life because she is always true to her word.

Ages ago in Second Life, I was dragged to buy new hair. Primmed hair had just become the fashion, and three of my friends brought me (a bit forcefully) to Washu's Mirada shop. Reluctantly, I took two hours in picking a style that I enjoyed, but it wasn't easy. At that time, Washu was a giant for me. A top designer in Second Life. Someone far, far away from the reach of us mortals. You would only whisper her name in reverence and adoration. Years after that episode, Eggy Lippmann suggested that Washu worked for our company. I was shocked to see that she was available at all! In fact, such a talented artist and successful entrepreneur in SL seemed not to have time free for a tiny start-up. On the contrary, she *did* have time — and quickly became Creative Assistant and managing several projects and teams under her. And quite unlike the "innaccessible designer" image I had of her, Washu is one of the sweetest person I've met, incredibly efficient, insanely quick at doing everything that we ask from her — business and personal — and a warm, positive, very friendly person. Although she's ruthless when others don't finish their work for a deadline!! There is no one I know that is so organised and reliable, with such attention to details. Everything has to be right in place for her to be happy about it. But she does all that painfully meticulous work with a smile and a warm heart!
