Lamoreaux is a hell of a curator. There's a flowing consistency - with bumps and jerks usually cannily interrupting the tide - that defines mystery, quiet intrigue and surface tension. Much here may be texture driven. But I like the anomie that lies beneath the facade of normal, low-key life.
