I take photos infrequently, but passionately. I love to wander in my home town Amsterdam and in other places all over the world.

Wanderungen is a German word. It represents the Romantic notion of wandering, both mentally and physically. To me, taking photos is a fascinating way to establish some kind of connection with unknown or familiar surroundings, both on an emotional and on an intellectual level.
