I'm a committed vegetarian (along with my husband whom I converted about 11 years ago) with a strong conviction to animal rights. I believe that we as humans are here on earth to protect and take care of animals rather than cruelly exploit them for profit or for the entertainment of humans, which I find absolutely deplorable. It is my hope that through my photography, especially in the places in Asia that I have visited, and will visit in the future, that the message of animal rights will be broadcast loud and clear. We are the same as our animal friends with one exception, we have a choice and a voice, animals don't and it's for this reason that we are in a fiduciary relationship with the animals, a special relationship of care-taking, not life-taking.
