I'm a photojournalist in central Oklahoma. I occationally freelance for AP and other outside publications or groups. My images have been published in the New York Times, USA Today, Newsweek and Washington Post, to name a few.

My favorite subject matters: My twin nephews :) and anything colorful or unique.

I'm interested in just about all types of photography and continually work to better my craft. I've just recently become interested in photomanipulation since it's a journalism no-no, but I keep the two types of work totally separated. If your interested in portriat work and manipulation you must view LaraJade's photo stream here on Flickr...which is what got me interested photomanipulation. She's so young to be as good as she is!

A little about me: To know me on the surface, you might think i'm a ditz. If you know me well, then you KNOW I'm a ditz. But if you REALLY know me then you've realized my mind is typically thinking about 10 things at once....so any details that aren't image based are totally off my radar - (especially people's names!)....but don't under-estimate me either.

Other than that, if you think you can understand me...good luck. At age 31, I'm still trying to understand myself :P

P.S. If you visit my photostream and have any thoughts (good or bad, just as long as they are genuine) please let me know. I appreciate input very much...and on the days when I've convinced myself I'm the worlds worst photographer....your props, views and favs might help lift my self-appraisal to the world's second-worst photographer instead.....heehee. (And I'll always do my best to return the favor since I know I'm not the only one!....LOL..)

P.S.S. I'm possibly the world's worst speller who happens to also make a living as a journalist. If I can deal with that fact, then so can you. :)
